This transformation occurs when the Spirit of God combines with the Word of God to bring this all important transformation into our lives. Therefore, the teaching and preaching of the Word of God is an essential part of our ministry.

Our History
First Baptist Church was founded in 1866. First known as Bethany Baptist Church, we became Morrisville Baptist Church in 1874. In the mid 1980's the name was changed to "First Baptist Church of Morrisville."
Our current location was once the crossroads of a very rural area. Today, the same location is central to the Research Triangle Park. While the community has changed, the mission of the church has not changed. Our mission has always been to reach people with the Gospel of Christ and teach them to be His disciples.
